When you share a map, you decide what goes on the link. You can leave off layers, drawings or saved items you would rather keep to yourself.

This hasn't reached the iOS app yet. The web app has it today, in any browser.
Step by step
Pick the app you're using
The web app and the mobile app don't always work the same way, so each has its own instructions.
In the toolbar, click My Maps, then click Edit (or Share) on the map's row.
Under Featured parcels, choose the parcels viewers see in full detail.
Under Layers on the share, untick any layer you do not want viewers to see.
Under Map content on the share, untick any drawing or saved item you want to leave off.
Use Search items, groups and tags… to find one quickly.
Good to know
Worth knowing before you start
Focus area
The share only shows data inside its Focus area, which comes from the parcels you feature and the drawings you publish. Outside it, viewers see satellite, roads and place names only.
On your phone
The mobile app cannot change share settings yet. Change them on the web and the link updates for everyone.
