This hasn't reached the iOS app yet. The web app has it today, in any browser.
Step by step
Pick the app you're using
The web app and the mobile app don't always work the same way, so each has its own instructions.
In the toolbar, click My Maps.
Find the map in the list and click its Share button.
The share settings open.
Click Copy next to the link at the top.
Paste the link into an email or message.
Anyone with it can open the map.
Good to know
Worth knowing before you start
Share from your phone
The mobile app can open shared maps but cannot create a share yet. Share the map from the web app, then send the link from anywhere.
Only saved maps can be shared
If you are in the Sandbox, save the map first with Save current as New Map.
